The LPL-3B Lens technology is designed to block visible green, blue violet and non-visible InfraRed lasers from damaging the wearers eyes. ESS LPL-3B lenses protect against visible violet lasers at 405nm wavelength (5.0 OD), visible blue lasers at 445nm wavelength (3.0 OD), visible green lasers at 532nm wavelength (4.5 OD), non-visible IR lasers at 800-1090nm wavelengths (OD 4.0+), and non-visible IR lasers at 1064nm wavelengths (OD 6.0+). At a VLT of 22% photopic (daytime) and 8.4% Scotopic (nighttime) this allows for optimum protection and operation versatility in both bright and low light conditions.
